"BORDE" means "edge" in Italy. Borde is the wash basin whose design comes from the contrast of straight and curve line. The wash basin which is made of pure white artificial marble makes the design of edge sharpen. The drain trap has white color cap made of same material with wash basin. Because it has small counter next to wash area, it is not only simple body shape but also easy to use.

Fusion traditional technique of SHIGARAKI and our design. SHIGARAKI is one of the six old kilns of Japan continued since middle ages. The characteristic is natural with rough crate. SHIGARAKI EN describes our simple design with that ceramics technique. Also, it describes grace impression leading "Japanese heart" with monotone color and circle form. Texture is lightly mat and a little bit gross.

ANGOLO FLAT is a stainless-steel wash-hand basin designed for bathrooms with tight space constraints, e.g. for shops and bachelor apartments. Its minimal size realized by a stainless-steel top panel with a round sink allows for effective use of space even in a narrow wash-hand space. The top panel made of a 3mm-thick stainless-steel plate gives the sink both durability and a pleasant appearance.

he Angolo Flat wash basin is evidence of a very functional, simple and clean design approach. The manufacturing technique, precision and surface treatment of the stainless steel allows this material, which has usually been used for the public realm, to enter the private sphere. The compact volume of the product, which makes it so useful and practical for many applications, has been achieved through basic, but effective, rationalization. This product is a superb example of a combination of minimal design and maximal functionality.

概要

「アンゴロフラット」はトイレなど、狭小スペース向きに設計された、プレート天板と丸型ボウルが一体となったミニマムサイズの洗面ボウル。素材はSUS304オールステンレスで、強度が高く手入れがしやすく商業施設など不特定多数が使用する過酷な条件にも対応。デザイン性と耐久性を兼ね備えた仕上がりにしています。

受賞評価

手洗器「アンゴロフラット」には、非常に機能的、そしてシンプルでクリーンなデザインアプローチが明確に表現しています。ステンレスという素材は一般的には主に公共施設で使われてきましたが、素材自体の製造技術と品質及び加工性の高さにより、一般建築などの民間への用途が広がりました。本製品は基本的かつ効果的に合理化することで、実用的で多くの用途で使うことができる、コンパクトなサイズが実現されています。ミニマルなデザインと最大限の機能性を組み合わせた、秀逸な事例と言えます。

A metal lathe is the ingenious device using the principle of leverage, pressing tracing spatula to a stainless steel. Hemisphere made by a metal lathe is almost perfect circle, and circular slit and simple form express the universal beauty.

日本の新幹線の先端などに用いられる金属加工技術「ヘラ絞り」によって成形された洗面ボウル。「ヘラ絞り」とは回転させた金属板に”へら”という棒を”てこの原理”で押し当て、絞るように力を加えることで形が生み出される独創的な製造方法です。回転（スピニング）から生み出される半球体のボウルは限りなく真円に近く、「ヘラ絞り」特有の波紋のような円形模様と限りなくシンプルな形状のフォルムは、普遍的な美しさを表現しています。
